In-game map
A full map of the Zone. The survivor camps are outlined on it, your last death is marked, and you can place your own markers.
Twenty kilometers of the Chernobyl exclusion zone: Pripyat, the power plant, Duga, the Red Forest. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. atmosphere without the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. gear. Patience, exploration and planning get rewarded. Most infected and wildlife stay at vanilla difficulty. There are no hostile AI, no traders, and no radiation mods. The danger comes from the Zone and from other survivors.
Three safe zones where players can’t hurt each other. Catch your breath, meet people, and leave things for others in the shared safezone storage.

The Zone releases EVR storms. When the sky turns, get indoors. Anyone caught outside is knocked out or killed.
Permanent contaminated areas at the Red Forest base and Duga, plus zones that appear and fade. Bring a gas mask and NBC gear.
Some things in the Zone attack your mind first. If your vision warps, run away or come prepared.
Global text chat only works with a powered handheld radio in your inventory. Find one, put in a battery, reach out.
No traders and no NPCs. Everything you get, you find, build, or barter for with other players.
Hundreds of civilian clothing options and a separate coat slot. Military gear isn’t the only way to get space and warmth.
Armored pickups, SUVs and Humvees join the beat-up civilian cars. The tougher rides wait deeper in the Zone. Third-person inside vehicles only.
Barricade real doors and board up windows, add codelocks and lockable storage. No floating fortresses.
Unlimited stamina, auto-run, smaller items, bigger ammo stacks. Spend your time surviving, not managing.
Find paper and a pen to write notes and leave them for whoever comes next. Every fresh spawn gets one.
PvP is on everywhere except inside three 300 m safe zones. They’re outlined on the in-game map, and you get a notice when you enter or leave one. Kill a player inside and you’re marked a lawbreaker, announced server-wide and shown on the map. Each camp has shared safezone storage for leaving things to others.
Interpret these as best you can. The general idea: be respectful of other survivors. Questions go to the Discord.
No griefing, and no bigoted or hateful speech in voice or text chat.
Roleplay is encouraged, never required. You can kill on sight and be killed on sight, so stay sharp and don’t complain when it happens.
No building within 100 m of the outer fences or walls of military bases and areas, airfields, labs, X12, static gas zones, Duga, the whole Chernobyl plant area, the Brain Scorcher and the Refugee Camp. Admins remove bases built there.
